Prison suicide should be preventable, not inevitable
Professor Joe Rafferty, chief executive of Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust and chair of the Zero Suicide Alliance (ZSA) says prison suicides in the UK should be preventable.
The government has appointed Dame Carol Black as an independent advisor on drug misuse and will publish an ambitious new drug strategy later this year.
