Though the exact statistic remains unknown, it’s estimated around 500,000 UK people are currently using weight-loss medications like Mounjaro and Wegovy. But do these people really know what they’ve signed themselves up for?

At the beginning of this week we reported on the news that Mounjaro, a drug now being typically used for weight-loss, is being rolled-out on the NHS. It is hoped that the drug’s introduction will help tackle our country’s growing obesity crisis, however there are also growing concerns that the medication won’t be used wisely.
