It’s no secret that unpaid carers face a number of struggles with a continued lack of support. However, this video perfectly demonstrates how they can find comfort in each other and in the arts.

This week we’ve reported on the release of a new song from unpaid carers in Wales called ‘Who Cares?’. The track details the daily battles they experience but also provides a heartwarming message that others in a similar situation can be their biggest cheerleaders.

In this video, the carers involved in the creation of the song – who are also part of a support group called ‘Connecting Carers’ – give us an insight into the recording process and of their day-to-day.

The video was produced by the charity Tanio in partnership with Cwmpas.
