Live-in care provider shortlisted for two awards

Promedica24, a provider of live-in care services, has been shortlisted for two awards at this year’s UK HealthInvestor Awards.

The company has been recognised in the ‘Domiciliary Care Provider of the Year’ category for its excellence in providing high-quality, personalised care solutions to people in their own homes.

The second category, ‘Recruiter of the Year’, focuses on highlighting innovation and achievements across recruitment, training and development of the workforce that leads to better client and staff satisfaction.

Darren Housden, Sales & Marketing Director, commented:  ‘To be shortlisted for not just one but two awards is a real achievement and a testament to the hard work that every single member of the Promedica24 team has put in over the last year.

‘2020 was a challenging time, but thanks to the professionalism, dedication, and compassion of our staff, we have continued providing the highest-quality care to our clients, ensuring both their emotional and physical needs were always met despite the difficulties of the pandemic.

‘We are committed to making a positive difference in people’s lives, and with this in mind, we are continuing to grow our workforce through the launch of a major UK recruitment drive, the biggest in the company’s history, to support our ongoing growth.’

The 2021 HealthInvestor Awards recognises achievement and investment in the healthcare sector, with finalists representing the leading players in the market. The judges are looking for organisations that have made an outstanding contribution to the sector over the past year.

Promedica24 is no stranger to the HealthInvestor Awards after being shortlisted in last year’s ‘Domiciliary Care Provider of the Year’ award. The company has set its sights on both trophies this year but will have to wait until the awards ceremony on 13 September to find out if they will be crowned the winners.

Promedica24’s exemplary response to the coronavirus pandemic was recently highlighted at the 2021 Home Care Awards with a shortlisting in the ‘Response to Covid-19’ category.

The company’s success hasn’t gone unnoticed in previous years either, picking up accolades in 2020 for its recruitment and training expertise and awarded with a high commendation in the ‘Live-in Care Expertise’ category.
