You will receive a comprehensive induction into the requirements of the role and care staff will be expected to complete the 15 Care Certificate standards within 6 months as part of their probationary period.
We are seeking to fill the following vacancies: -
Support Workers- x3, full time posts, 35hrs per week Scale SO1 £35’577-£36’567.
We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals who can be effective in supporting and understanding the needs of residents with a learning disability and Autism, with all aspects of their care.
You will work with residents using a strength-based approach to ensure the recreational, spiritual, social, and emotional aspirations of residents, are a focus of their care and recognise potential opportunities for building their resilience and independence. It is important therefore that you have good observational, listening, planning, communication and recording skills, and thrive in working within a team environment.
You will work with residents to ensure they are achieving their full potential within a framework of choice, inclusion, and independence.
As a Support Worker you will be required to enable residents to express their rights, choices and aspirations whilst ensuring the highest standard of care is maintained in accordance with Royal Greenwich Council and Greenwich Living Options policies, procedures and CQC Fundamental Standards.
