About this opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for experienced and passionate supervisors to support and manage our team within our community-based Care Services. In this role, you will ensure high-quality, cost-effective, and flexible care to support and help maintain independence for the people of Westmorland & Furness. You will play a key role in ensuring that our services are person centred and delivered to the highest of standards.
Key responsibilities in this role include all aspects of people management, such as scheduling, authorising expenses, managing absence, and overseeing recruitment, induction, and training processes. You will also conduct regular one-to-one sessions, team meetings, and performance reviews to maintain quality standards and identify training needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about developing staff, ensuring service excellence, and pursuing their own professional development through continuous learning.
Who we are looking for…
Motivated and experienced individuals with a Level 3 qualification (or a willingness to achieve this) and a strong background in supervision and performance management. You will have a strong customer focus, respect for individuals’ rights and dignity, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care. You should also have experience using digital systems, a solid understanding of health and safety practices, and the ability to deliver training. Strong leadership, the ability to prioritise tasks, and a commitment to confidentiality and data protection are key to success in this role.

DBS
This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 and requires an enhanced DBS check with an Adults Barred List check.
