Social Worker required for the Mental Health South Social Work Team within Adult Social Care.

We are looking to recruit a qualified social worker to join our busy and supportive team.

The post holder will need to be skilled in completing assessments and support planning with adults whose care and support needs arise from mental disorder.

Good communication skills are necessary including the ability to liaise and work closely with colleagues in health across a number of teams and settings.

The role includes the need to work in line with the Mental Health Act 1983 (as amended 2007) Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005 on a regular basis. 

This role requires an enhanced DBS check with an Adults Barred List check. Please note this role involves working in regulated activity with Adults.

We are currently operating virtual interviews. This will preferably be undertaken using the Microsoft Teams software which is currently free for new users however if there are any issues with accessing this technology we are happy to discuss alternative arrangements prior to the interviews.  
 
Options will be discussed with candidates once they have been invited to the interview stage of the process and if you have any concerns or adjustments are needed we are happy to discuss.
