At Beaulieu House, we support children and young people with disabilities, complex needs, and behaviours that challenge. We are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where young people can thrive, achieve their goals, develop independence, and enjoy meaningful experiences.

As a Shift Supervisor, you will play a vital role in leading shifts, supporting colleagues, and ensuring that every young person receives high-quality, person-centred care. This is a rewarding opportunity to have a genuine impact on the lives of children and young people, helping them build confidence, develop life skills, and create lasting memories.

Our young people enjoy a wide range of exciting activities and experiences, including visits to Legoland, Tapnell Farm, Isle of Wight Zoo, Blackgang Chine, Robin Hill, Amazon World, Marwell Zoo, and many more. No two days are the same.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, and compassionate individual who is passionate about improving the lives of children and young people. This role would suit someone who:

  • Has experience working within health, social care, education, or residential childcare.
  • Is looking to take the next step in their career and develop their leadership skills.
  • Enjoys supporting young people to develop independence and achieve positive outcomes.

  • Support staff through supervision, coaching, and role modelling best practice.
  • Plan, organise, and facilitate engaging activities tailored to individual interests and needs.
  • Act as a Key Worker, contributing to care planning, reviews, and multi-agency meetings.
  • Complete records, reports, and documentation to a high standard.
  • Support young people to develop independence, life skills, confidence, and resilience.
  • Work collaboratively with families, professionals, and colleagues.
  • Participate in the on-call rota.
  • Contribute ideas and initiatives that enhance the quality of life and experiences of our young people.

Above all, you will help provide a true "home away from home", living our mission:

"We nurture, care for and safeguard our children while supporting individuality and encouraging adventure."
