About the Role:
We’re looking for a dedicated Support Assistant to join our Peripatetic Service at Sherwood Court, Wakefield. This vital service operates 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, delivering high-quality care to people in their own homes.
The post is for 21.00 hours per weekYou’ll work on a 2-week rolling Rota, including:
- Morning shifts: 08:00 – 15:00
- Salary 25,583- 25,989 (FTE) Salary: £28, 598 – £31,537 (FTE) £13.26 to £13.47 per hour.
- Weekends and bank holidays (enhanced pay rates apply)

- Supporting individuals to remain in their own homes
- Promoting independence and person- centred care i.e. Washing/dressing/Bathing/Toileting/Meals & Medication
- Working collaboratively with professionals and agencies

Essential requirements:

- GCSE Grades D–G in Math’s and English or
- Functional Skills Level 1 in Math’s and English
Desirable (but not required):
- Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
Don’t have the Level 2 qualification, No problem! We’ll provide full training and fund your qualification after successful completion of your probation period.
- A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential
