We are seeking to appoint a suitably skilled and highly motivated person to work as part of the Wakefield District Domestic Abuse Service in providing support to victims of domestic abuse.
We are looking for applicants who have a wealth of experience in providing domestic abuse support to victims, including emotional and practical support and advocacy on behalf of high and medium risk victims. We are looking for applicants who can demonstrate partnership working to support all victims of domestic abuse and who can provide high quality support to victims including those with complex needs and those with children.
This post holder will require confirmation of suitability to work within a Police Station via the Police vetting process.
Temporary Post until 30.9.2025 (this may be extended subject to continuation of funding).
