Champion Adult Social Care Safeguarding and Quality Services
We are looking for a passionate and strategic leader to join us as Head of Safeguarding, where you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality safeguarding and social care services. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Quality and Performance, this key role will lead critical statutory functions for Adult Social Care (ASC) while driving innovation and service improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and monitor best practices in safeguarding across Mental Health, Learning Disability, and ASC teams.
- Oversee the Quality Assurance System and manage Safeguarding Audits to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
- Lead, inspire, and manage the Principal Social Worker (PSW), Principal Occupational Therapist (POT), and DoLS Lead.
- Drive the implementation of innovative policies and develop professional growth opportunities for staff.
About You:
You’ll bring:
- A Social Work Degree or equivalent, and registration with Social Work England (SWE).
- Extensive experience in safeguarding, statutory social work practice, and service improvement.
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills to engage with partners and lead transformation initiatives.
