We have an exciting role on offer within our Early Help service as a Family Practitioner.
As a Family Practitioner you will work with children, young people, and their families, providing early help support with an identified complex caseload to set achievable goals, increase family resilience, and secure good outcomes for children.
This role is rewarding and requires you to work with vulnerable children and their families using a whole family approach to strengthen relationships and to provide help and support at the earliest opportunity, to prevent escalation to statutory services. A comprehensive knowledge and skill-base is needed and as an enthusiastic team player, you will need to use your initiative and champion improvements in practice.
The ability to develop strong relationships with schools, colleagues and other safeguarding partners is also a must for this role. You must have a degree or equivalent level 6 qualification, which is relevant to working with children, young people, and families. The work will require you through direct practical interventions with children and families to complete comprehensive assessments and develop care plans which you will be required to take the lead in reviewing as part of a multi-agency approach.
Are you driven and ambitious, both for yourself and the children and families you will work with? Do you have the confidence to work independently and manage your own caseload? If this is you, this may be the opportunity you are looking for!
