As the Director of Family Help and Children’s Social Care, you will be leading, developing and delivering high quality social care, prevention and family help services to children and families across the borough. You will drive the next phase of our service transformation programme and help develop new and innovative approaches to delivering integrated children’s services, engaging closely with partners, key stakeholders and Members.

We are seeking a qualified social worker for this role, someone who is ambitious and with the experience of delivering high quality children’s services whilst managing complex service redesign and change. We know we have a challenging journey ahead of us – but the building blocks are in place and we are determined to emerge as a stronger and more innovative council, with the right people and the right structure.
