As Shropshire Council makes steady progress on our journey of improvement and culture change, we’re busy building a special senior leadership team that will rebuild the council and Shropshire itself. That means driving transformational change across adult social care, championing innovative approaches to meet growing demographic pressures, and ensuring we deliver high-quality and person-centred care. You’ll take a strategic approach to issues including workforce, preventative approaches, and strong integrated delivery partnerships. We’ll also look to you to manage and develop the adult social care market to balance need and sustainability.

The right candidate will be profoundly values-led, with a clear focus on outcomes for people, and will exemplify the confident, visible and compassionate leadership culture we are building. Able to influence and lead effectively at system level, you’ll demonstrate a sophisticated approach to partnership, integration and financial stewardship.
