Following our workforce coming back in-house, having previously been supplied by Optalis, we have an unwavering commitment to improve services through cost-effective, innovative, and sustainable ways of working.

As our Deputy Director Adult Social Care Operations, you will be a qualified social worker and a member of the Corporate Leadership Team, responsible for leading effective operational services and overseeing teams looking after hospital discharges, front-door, community, safeguarding, learning disability, and mental health.

While our finances may be decreasing, we are more resolute than ever to support the most vulnerable residents in the community. This role is for someone who thrives in a challenging environment and has a clear, relationships-driven approach while ensuring value for money. As the Deputy DASS, you will have an opportunity to lead and deliver on strategic outcomes while working with key partners, including health and the voluntary sector.
