A young refugee who was placed with foster carers at the age of 12 after a tough start in life has achieved his dream of qualifying as an architect.
Dr Krish Kandiah has been appointed as the new chair of the Adoption and Special Guardianship Leadership Board (ASGLB), the Department for Education (DfE) announced.
