For Premier Community, the integration supports its commitment to delivering more holistic, outcome-based care, adapted to the evolving needs of clients. It also aligns with the government’s vision of a healthcare system focused on digital integration, workforce expansion and preventative care to that more people remain independent in their own home rather than in hospital.

The introduction of Access Assure, powered by Access TEC, will provide a range of advanced features to Premier Community’s services, including emergency response systems, remote health monitoring, and activity trackers. These will all be accessible through a user-friendly interface.

The system also supports clients to manage their daily activities safely and efficiently, in line with government aims to provide seamless service meeting both physical and mental health needs. As one example, if a client’s tracker detects a significant change in their movement patterns, such as a reduction in daily steps or prolonged inactivity, it can signal carers.

The team at Premier Community stress that the new systems will not replace compassionate, hands-on care. Rather, the technology will complement the personalised care offering, making it more proactive, preventative and safer.

The organisation will transition to an outcome-based service model, focused on tracking measurable outcomes to ensure that every opted-in client receives care tailored to their individual goals and circumstances. Again, this in step with the government’s stated commitment to prevention and early intervention, which in turn offers families peace of mind that their loved ones’ well-being is supported in every way, physically, emotionally and socially.

Emma Marlow, Director of Access TEC, says: ‘We are thrilled to be working with Premier Community on this visionary approach. The integration of Access Assure into their care services is a testament to their dedication to innovation and quality care. We continue to look forward to aligning our efforts with government initiatives that focus on integrating care, expanding the workforce, and enhancing prevention strategies. This partnership will deliver significant benefits to clients by providing them with greater autonomy, safety, and a more connected care experience.’

Dan Isterling, Managing Director of Premier Community adds: ‘At Premier Community, our mission has always been to provide exceptional care that enhances the lives of our clients and their families. As we continue to uphold this commitment, we recognise that the care landscape is evolving. We are excited to announce our strategic initiative to integrate assistive technology alongside our traditional home care services to remain at the forefront of this change.’
