CareLineLive launched in Australia to improve at home care

The all-in-one home care management software company is now set to go down under to improve and deliver quality at-home care services.

Currently, CareLineLive already supports several Australian home care providers including, Home Care Nurses Australia, Healthy Life Community Services, Community Nurses Australia and More than Care. However, the organisation have recently appointed Elena Neale as its new Australian Regional Manager so the services can be distributed across the country.

The award-winning platform, which originated in the UK, works by liaising with home care agencies and industry professionals to provide home care operators with an innovative, easy-to-use, all-in-one cloud-based home care management system. With the social care sector arguably more pushed now than it ever has been, it seems there is no better time than to introduce more digital frameworks.

Josh Hough, CareLineLive founder and MD commented: ‘Providing better care at home is essential in all parts of the globe. Australia has specific challenges when it comes to home care, so improving efficiency and productivity, as well as increasing capacity and compliance, is vital.

‘The CareLineLive team is passionate about what we do, and we look forward to continuing our work across the country.’

Last year, new research found older Australians want to receive aged care and live independently in their own homes for longer. Experts discovered that over the past decade, demand for Commonwealth-funded home care packages has increased, with more than 216,000 people now accessing the programme.

However, although it has been reported that an additional 9500 home care packages have been announced in the Federal Budget, the director of the National Centre for Healthy Ageing, Professor Velandai Srikanth said more work needs to be done to address inevitable future demand.

‘CareLineLive saves us time, is very cost-effective and enables constant communication between the managers, the carers, and also the families of the care recipient,’ said Busi Faulkner, MD at Home Care Nurses Australia. ‘I would highly recommend CareLineLive and look forward to continuing our work together.’

As well as being introduced in Australia, CareLineLive is also active in the UK, Ireland and Jersey.
